This May you will find Satelliet Originals at the monumental Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam for the 20th edition of Design District. At the same time, we will also be attending the UK’s leading design festival – Clerkenwell Design Week – in EC1, London.
At these inspiring trade fairs, we will present the newest highlights from the Originals collection. The graceful and sturdy Pebble, for example, a characteristic feat by designer Erik Remmers who states: ‘The range of metal frames could use a counterpart.’ Remmers is on a mission.
Top designer Lars Snellaars, too, with his elegant, Art Deco-ish ReUnited. An object of affection that takes you straight back to the roaring twenties. ‘Frills are like the nonsense of life: you don’t need them, but they make everything more fun,’ Snellaars claims. Yes, we so agree!
Meet & greet
Do you have any questions for our designers? Would you like to get acquainted? Or just show pure admiration? In Rotterdam there is a possibility to personally meet the designers behind the Originals collection on Thursday. From 17.00h to 19.00h there is every opportunity to meet, among others, Jan Dijkstra, Elise Luttik, Dave Keune, Jesse Visser, Ardie van Bommel and Gerard van den Berg. Make sure to be there.
Fair affairs
Previously Satelliet Originals was at the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, and we just returned from Milan after giving acte de presence at the Salone del Mobile. In week 21 you will find us both in Rotterdam at Design District and at Clerkenwell Design Week in London UK. You will be able to recognize us by the signature Originals colours we use in our trade show booth: orange/pink and contrasting blue. A quirky collection belongs in an exhibition stand that dares to show character.
